Editing your invitation now works by section: tap what you want to change
The editor is no longer an 18-step walk. Every section of your invitation is in view, grouped and with its state (done, missing or hidden), so you go straight to what you want to change: in a sidebar on a computer, and from the Sections button on a phone. You can also tap any part of the preview to edit it, and the preview follows the section you are editing.
Amélioration
The dress code now uses photos only
We removed the Pinterest link from the dress code. Reference photos (up to 4) show the look inside the invitation, without sending guests to another app. Existing links are no longer shown.
Amélioration
Create your invitation in 4 steps
Creating an invitation now takes four questions: the celebration (event type and names), the template, the date and the place. When you finish it is ready to share, and you can customize it later whenever you like. You pick the place by searching for it by name or marking it on the map, so guests always get a "Get directions" button and the time shows in the right time zone.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
We retired the event planner
The event planner (vendors, quotes, budget, checklist and the organizer's itinerary) is gone. Very few people used it, and we would rather focus on what you do use: digital invitations and group cards. Invitations don't change at all, including their itinerary for guests. If you need a copy of the information you had in an event, write to us and we'll send it to you.
Prix
New Max plan: your invitation on your own domain
Max is a third one-time plan at 99 USD that includes everything in Premium Plus plus a domain of your own for your invitation, like luciaandmateo.com, included for one year. You search for it and claim it from your invitation's Domain tab, and from then on it is the address you share: the link, each guest's personal link and their QR codes all use your domain. Unlike Premium and Premium Plus, Max costs the same in every country. When the year ends your invitation stays available on invitiapp.com, so nothing is lost.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Undo an arrival and clear your check-in test scans
Check-in could only count up: if you tested the scanner before the event those test scans stayed in the count, and if you registered the wrong person at the door there was no way to fix it. Now scanning shows an undo button for that arrival, and it works the same for you as for whoever is at the door with the staff link. The check-in tab also leads to Arrivals, a screen with the full list: you can filter between who arrived and who's still missing, search by name, undo several arrivals at once, and clear them all to reset check-in to zero after testing. Clearing arrivals never touches your guests' RSVPs. Times are shown in the event's timezone, not your phone's.

Find a guest and seat them without going in circles
With a dozen tables, finding where someone ended up meant reading all of them. The Tables tab now has a search by name: type it and only that person's table stays on screen, whole, so you also see who they're sitting with. It finds them whether or not you type the accents. And from any guest's record you can now assign their table right there, with a dropdown showing how many people each one already has — before, it only told you their table and you had to go hunt for them again on the other screen. You can also seat someone who hasn't confirmed yet; their seat counts once they do.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Each guest's full record, one click away
Seeing everything about one guest meant opening it in pieces: the edit dialog showed some of it, the list showed the rest, and their QR code lived behind another button. Now any guest's name is a link — from the guest list and from their table — that opens their record with everything together: phone and email ready to call or write, the exact date and time they confirmed, how many people they're bringing against their allowance, the message they left, their answers to your questions, their table, whether they've arrived and when, your private note, and their QR code to share. Times are shown in the event's timezone, not your phone's, for when you're organizing from another country.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Organize your guests by table
Splitting guests across tables happened in a separate spreadsheet, and on the day it ended up as a printed chart at the door. From today your invitation has a Tables tab: create the tables you need, with an optional capacity, and seat the people who confirmed. Each guest sees their table on their own invitation, and at the door it comes up when their code is scanned — whoever is receiving reads it at a glance and points them straight to their seat, without searching any list. Capacity is only a reference that warns you when you go over: it never blocks an assignment. It's free, unlimited, and needs no Premium.

An email that walks you through everything you just unlocked
Paying only got you the order receipt from our payment processor, and nothing telling you what had actually changed in your account. From today you also get an email from us with the confirmation and, more importantly, the list of what opened up and a direct link to each one: sharing with no view limit and no watermark, editing whenever you like, WhatsApp alerts and the second email address for whoever is organizing with you, QR check-in, the larger gift registry, the message wall with no signature cap, the photo album, the AI assistant, and where to find your receipt. It covers all three products: invitations, group cards with Card PRO, and planner events. If you bought Premium Plus, the email also covers how to close the invitation with your brand instead of ours.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Whoever confirms gets their QR code instantly
The check-in QR code only existed for guests the host loaded into the list one by one, and each personal link had to be sent out over WhatsApp. From today, anyone who confirms from the invitation's general link gets their own code right on the confirmation screen, along with the button to save the pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet — so they carry it on their phone on the day instead of hunting for an old message. At the door, whoever is checking people in scans that code from the staff access link. On top of that, if someone confirms twice typing their phone number differently — with or without the country code, with spaces or dashes — they're now recognized as the same person and no longer show up twice in your list.
Amélioration
Download the receipt and invoice for any purchase
Until now, getting proof of payment meant writing to us. From today it lives in the app: in a paid invitation's settings — and in those of a group card with Card PRO — you'll find your receipt one click away, and the same in each one's payment tab. If you need an invoice with your billing details, fill in the name or company, the address and your tax id — VAT, NIT, RFC or whatever your country uses — and the PDF is generated on the spot. Purchases made before today have their receipt available too; in the few cases where we can't identify the order with certainty, write to us and we'll send it.
Amélioration
The time is now written the way you read it
Invitations in Spanish and Portuguese showed the time on a 24-hour clock ("19:00"), a form almost nobody uses to invite people to a party in Latin America. From today it reads "7:00 PM" automatically, and the event time and the itinerary times always match each other. If you prefer the 24-hour clock — the norm in Spain or Portugal — you can pick it yourself in the editor's "Date and time" step: the choice applies across the whole invitation, including the Apple Wallet pass. The Google Wallet pass is the exception: there the time is written by Google according to each guest's phone language, and we can't change it.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Your event photos now live in Fotara
The guest photo album is no longer created inside InvitiApp: from today, new invitations gather the event's photos in **Fotara**, another product by the makers of InvitiApp, built just for that. Your invitation's overview now shows a card to create your album for free in one click: it opens your Fotara account with your name and email, the album ready to go, plus a one-time 35% discount if you want to upgrade it to Plus or Max. Fotara has its own account, plans and terms, and the album link is shared from there. Invitations created before today keep their InvitiApp album exactly as it was — same tab, same photos, same moderation: nothing changes for them.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Second email for RSVP alerts
Premium invitations can now send the attendance (RSVP) alerts to a second email — your partner's, your mom's, or the event planner's. Set it up in the invitation's settings tab, in the notifications section: enter the email, a 6-digit code arrives, and once verified it gets its own switch just like the other channels. Every channel is independent: you can turn your own email off and keep only the second one, or the other way around. The second email receives RSVP confirmations only — no gift, album or other alerts. Remove or change it anytime.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Background textures for your invitation
Your invitation's background no longer has to be a flat color — you can now give it a finish, and there are 18 to choose from. The subtle ones (paper, linen, dots, diamonds, scallops, confetti) plus the ones that match your celebration: hearts, stars, sparkles, crowns, flowers, eucalyptus botanicals, rings, butterflies, balloons, baby footprints, crosses and snowflakes. The ones that suit your event type come first, too — building a quinceañera puts crowns and butterflies right up front. The texture is drawn in your invitation's own color, so it matches whatever palette you chose, and it stays subtle enough not to fight with the text. You can also pick the size — small, medium or large: small feels like textured paper, large makes the motif read. Choose it in the editor's "Mode" step, under the card style; it applies to scroll mode only (in stories mode each screen already brings its own background). Free on every invitation.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Limit on people per confirmation
When you share the general link, you can now cap how many people a single confirmation may include — so nobody signs up half their family unannounced. Turn it on in the editor's "RSVP" step, under the headcount question, and pick the number. Guests see "Up to 4 people per confirmation" and the stepper stops there. Leave it off and nothing changes: no limit, exactly as before. Guests you added by name are unaffected — they already have their own allocated seats. Free on every invitation.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
RSVP deadline
You can now set a deadline for RSVPs. Turn it on in the editor's "RSVP" step: pick the day, and your guests see "Please confirm before October 20" inside the form. Once it passes, the section stays where it was but shows that RSVPs are closed and points guests to you instead. You can also close them on the spot once you have the guests you need — the guests tab has a "Close now" button (and "Reopen" if you change your mind). Free on every invitation.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Seven styles for the welcome screen
The first thing your guest sees when they open the invitation is now a choice: Classic (the original), Minimal, Glass, Photo, Editorial, Envelope (arrives sealed, the flap lifts open on its own) or Ticket (notches and a tear line). Pick it in the editor's "Welcome screen" step; nothing it already did changes — the guest's name, their allocated seats, the personal note and the icon all still render in every style. Free on every invitation.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Six card styles for scroll mode
The frame shared by every section of your invitation (description, date, location, gallery, dress code, itinerary, gift registry, playlist, FAQ and RSVP) is now a choice: Elevated (the original), Outlined, Soft, Glass, Paper or No card. Pick it in the editor's "Mode" step, under scroll/stories, and it restyles the whole invitation at once. Free on every invitation.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Your own heading for the description
The invitation's main message now takes a heading of your own — "Our story", "Dear friends", whatever fits — instead of sitting there as a loose paragraph. Leave it empty and the block renders untitled exactly as before. Free on every invitation.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Reference photos on the dress code
The dress code section now takes up to 4 reference photos with an optional label ("Women", "Men") and a pickable size, alongside the Pinterest board. They render as compact polaroids in a single row and guests zoom them without leaving the invitation — free on every invitation.
Amélioration
Hide the Wallet & QR block if you don't need it
New switch in the invitation settings to hide the "Save your invitation" block (Apple/Google Wallet pass + guest QR code). Turning it off removes the block from the public invitation and disables pass downloads.
Amélioration
Multi-day itinerary and manual ordering
The itinerary now respects the order you arrange activities in (with reorder arrows in the editor) instead of sorting them by time only — previously, a weekend event showed Sunday before Saturday. You can also assign each activity to a day of the event and the invitation groups them under per-day headers.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Customize the share message and link preview
From the Share tab you can now edit everything your guests see when they receive the link: the pre-filled share text (with variables like the guest's name, title and date), the title and description of the WhatsApp/Facebook preview card, and the link image — use your cover, pick a gallery photo, or upload a dedicated image. Available on all invitations, including free ones.
Prix
One-time unlock price update
The Premium invitation unlock changed from $14.99 to $19.99 USD (standard-price countries) and from $24.99 to $29.99 USD (high-income countries). Premium Plus changed from $22.99 to $29.99 USD and from $34.99 to $39.99 USD respectively. These remain one-time payments per invitation — there are no subscriptions. The exact price for your country is always shown before checkout.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
7 cover styles and a customizable countdown
The invitation cover now offers 7 visual styles with a flip modifier, and the countdown gained 6 presentation styles with an editable title and its own step in the editor.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
New gallery layouts
The photo gallery now supports mosaic, columns and collage layouts, plus photo reordering and size/visible-count controls.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Collaborative playlist
Guests can suggest songs (title and artist) right on the invitation, no account needed. The host moderates the list and copies it as plain text for the DJ. Free feature.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Gift registry
Invitations now include a gift registry: links to any store worldwide, cash funds pointing at the host's own payment link (PayPal, Bizum…), bank account details, and text-only notes to frame the ask ("cash gifts welcome", "your presence is our gift") with an optional icon. Guests reserve gifts to avoid duplicates — InvitiApp never processes gift money. Free up to 3 items; Premium extends to 50.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
AI support assistant for Premium invitations
Premium and Premium Plus invitations include a chat assistant that knows your invitation's real data (date, guests, RSVPs, settings) and answers in your language with direct links to the action you need.
Nouvelle fonctionnalité
Premium Plus with custom branding
New Premium Plus tier: everything in Premium plus white-label branding — replace the InvitiApp credit on the invitation with your own brand (name, slogan, website, Instagram, WhatsApp) or remove it entirely. Built for wedding planners and professional organizers.
